The YMCA Youth Sports uses a game approach to teaching sport skills.  The games approach is more exciting for young players than the traditional progression from drills to game play.  For children, participating in sports is more than just playing a game.  It’s about personal development, learning responsibility, and developing positive values and attitudes-as well as sports skills and tactics.   YMCA Youth Sports focuses not only on skill development, but on the overall development of the youngster in the areas that are important not just for the season but for a lifetime.

The Somerset Valley YMCA offers the following youth programs, please check program guide for day and time.
